Any Steampunk fans in Frome ? Then save this August Anarchy date over in Shepton

The popular Shepton Experience independent market is back again next month.

The 'August Anarchy' event takes place on Sunday, August 28.

As well as all the stalls selling wonderful products ranging from street food and crafts to jewellery and cakes, the fabulous DJ John Lime in residence all day delivering tunes in keeping with the theme (but mindful of all ages and musical tastes!).

There is also the opportuntiy to enter a Steampunk themed fancy dress competition, with prizes for the best outfit. There will be prizes for the Best Adult outfit - 1st & 2nd place and Best Child outfit (under 12yrs) - 1st & 2nd place. Entrants should be in the Market Place for the judging and prize giving at 1.30pm

There will be a selection of shops and cafes open in town too.

Dogs are welcome, and the event is easily accessible for pushchairs, buggies, mobilioty scotters etc.

Parking in town usually costs £2 on a Sunday, but will be free for the event.

The 'August Anarchy' market runs from 10am-3pm in Shepton Mallet Market Place.
