Have you got a stash of unused art stuff in the back of a cupboard? Perhaps materials given as a present, or some items you have never got around to using?

Well here is your chance to share them so others can use them to be creative! Future Shed Health (Green and Healthy Frome) is working with local residents, artists and organisations to make this happen.

"We are looking for art materials in good condition including art pens, crayons, brushes, pencils, paints, paper and canvases, printmaking kit, rulers and stencils and play doh or plasticine," organisers said.

"We cannot take oil paints, solvents, textiles, electrical items, frames or damaged items."

Locals can bring materials to Future Shed, Edventure Hub, Welshmill (left hand door, first floor), Park Lane Drive, Frome BA11 2LE on weekdays from 9.30am to 3.30pm until Thursday 18 July.

There is a donation box in our indoor 'greenhouse' on the first floor.

Organisers will be giving away art materials at Frome Children's Festival on Sunday 21 July from 11am–5pm at the Cheese and Grain.

"Families can take part in our free drop-in art workshop and we are accepting donations on the day," they explained.

"There will be other opportunities for children and adults to take away art materials later in the year.

"How is this 'green and healthy'?

"Reusing what we already have is really important for our planet and donating makes us feel good! We know that creativity is linked to wellbeing including the benefits of being absorbed in a project, activating different parts of our brains, reduced stress and anxiety and even new connections if you are in a group."
