The Robins gave their fans plenty to cheer about at their last home game of the season, with a two nil win over near neighbours Paulton Rovers.

With a heavy number of injuries there were a lot of new faces on side, who did not disappoint, but the biggest cheer did come from the second goal in the first half, a glorious header from captain Sam Teale.

It was not perhaps the slickest of matches, and there were mistakes, with a yellow card to the ever dazzling Jon Davies, but it got the job done.

The visitors were kept in check by a reborn-after Easter squad, after a season which was pretty sad in the middle. Confidence seems to have been restored, this the fourth win on the trot from the energised Robins, who now face a nail biting week ahead.

They are playing Totton this coming Tuesday and then away to Tavistock on Saturday. So it will be down the wire.

As the media team said: " Special thanks to the 491 fans who have made it this afternoon and for all of your efforts this season! Still plenty to play for this season - keep on believing."
