Broadway in Frome is going to be closed for 10 days in November while the pavements are repaired.

The road will be shut from 8am to 5pm from November 11 to 22 inclusive, excluding weekends, to enable Somerset Highways to carry out structural maintenance of the footways.

It will be closed from the Royal Oak crossroads where the road meets Egford Lane and Oakfield Road, to the roundabout where it meets the A362.

Access will be maintained for local residents via the nearby roads, and there will be a diversion for non-local traffic, sending it via Nunney Road and Oakfield Road.
