Glorious food, drink, entertainment and, of course, plenty of cheese awaits visitors to this year's Frome Agricultural and Cheese Show on Saturday 14th September at the West Woodlands Showground.

It's set to be a feast for all the senses with a huge food hall, arena attractions, shopping galore, music stage and cheese pavilion.

Enjoy all the trimmings of a traditional country show with rural competitions in everything from vegetable growing and crochet to livestock showing and show jumping.

Find out what goes on down at the farm with the big machinery demos, the hilarious Sheep Show and the Discovery Zone where you'll find Tractor Ted and the Animal Nursey with lots of furry friends ready to meet you.

Making a very special guest appearance on the stage this year will be Mr Bloom from CBeebies so get ready for talking vegetables and sing alongs.

The Cheese Pavilion is going to be a hive of activity this year not only showcasing the entries from the Global Cheese Awards, but there are also trade stands, the cheese bar and the cookery theatre stage.

On stage will be Jean Christophe Novelli and Frome chef Katy Harris as well as having cheese making demos, a cheese auction and a cookery competition from Frome College.

The trade stands areas are stacked to the rafters with more than 300 traders now attending the show from local produce and cakes, to homemade goods with demonstration stands a-plenty.

Tickets are available from the Show Office, Rodden Road, Frome, Somerset BA11 2AH or over the phone on the ticket hotline 01373 455420.
