Coronavirus : Frome supermarket puts older shoppers first and shortens opening hours

A store in the centre of Frome has made its own decision about helping older residents in the town to get the food and supplies they need.
The Iceland supermarket, on the main street in the town, will be opening its doors on Wednesday for the first two hours, limited to only serving older shoppers.
It has also announced it will be cutting overall shopping opening hours and will also limit sales of toilet paper AND cleaning products.
The store is acting independently, although the Iceland in Warminster is reported to be doing the same, and came along with news of central government intervention to ensure food supplies are maintained.
Today (March 16) the Environment Secretary George Eustice met with representatives from the UK's food industry to discuss the ongoing response to coronavirus.
He has been speaking regularly to retailers and industry bodies to ensure businesses can maintain food supply.
