Cancer counselling charity We Hear You (WHY) and Dorothy House Hospice Care are sad to announce that their popular weekly drop-in group at the Cheese and Grain in Frome for people affected by cancer or life-limiting illness has been cancelled until further notice.

A spokesperson from WHY said "We're so very sad to have to cancel the group, which has amazed and delighted us with its popularity and clearly demonstrated the huge value of community and friendship when people are coping with life limiting illness.

"Dorothy House have run various such groups across Wiltshire for some time and it's been fantastic to link up with them in Frome.

"We hope to be back as soon as it's safe to do so, but given the number of people who attend the group who are immune compromised it isn't responsible to continue during the current global outbreak of coronavirus. Please keep an eye out for updates. In the meantime, we send all our group attendees our best wishes and look forward to seeing you before too long. "
