Figures for coronavirus cases by district have been updated by Public Health England, and they show that the district for Frome, Mendip, has now had 57 confirmed cases so far.

As of 4pm last night (May 12), Mendip's 57 cases meant it still had one of the lowest levels of coronavirus cases at a district level in the country, though it has seen an increase with the easing of the lockdown.

As of the same time, the total number of lab-confirmed UK cases was 226,463, and the total number of Covid-19 related deaths in the UK was 32,692.

Five new ministerial-led taskforces have been set up to develop plans for how and when closed sectors can reopen safely, following publication of the UK's roadmap to rebuild Britain.

Businesses and shops in indoor environments or with closer contact between people, like pubs, hotels and non-essential retail, will likely have a higher risk of transmission, as is the case with many places of worship.

The five new ministerial taskforces will look at the following sectors:
