Readers of Frome Nub News will probably know John Killah best as a solicitor. For many years until his recent retirement from the profession, John practised as a lawyer in and around Frome and this part of Somerset.

Now, John has announced the publication of his debut comic fiction novel, Struck Off. The book is published by Hobnob Press and is being released for general sale on Tuesday 9th November.

"No one will expect me to give any of the plot away, "says John. "However, for anyone interested in reading a funny and gripping tale about shenanigans going on in a busy Somerset market town, this is probably a book for them.

"The good news is that it is now only a few days till publication date. The book can of course be bought online but if at all possible I would urge everyone to support our excellent local independent bookshop, Winstone's Hunting Raven Books, in Cheap Street. The book will be on sale there from 9.30am on Tuesday next week."
