To enable the Environment Agency to help carry out essential maintenance to reduce flood risk in Frome, contractors will be widening the existing access path to allow plant and machinery to safely get to the working site.

The works will mean a temporary closure of the access path from Welshmill Lane to the Round House will be in place from Wednesday 14 August to Tuesday 20 August.

There will be a break over the weekend.

The work planned is to build a permanent watercraft launching site and lifting pad by the Roundhouse to carry out essential maintenance work as and when necessary.
