Police are appealing for witnesses after a failed attempt to steal an ATM machine in Frome.

It happened at about 3.30am on 6 February when the suspects attempted to set fire to the ATM machine in a convenience store at Fromefield in Rodden Road.

Some damage was caused to a window adjacent to the ATM.

There were three suspects – two in a car and one on a moped. All three were wearing what appeared to be hooded tops.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time who may have seen a car and moped travelling together.

If you have information or mobile phone footage, contact the police quoting reference 5220029779
