It's often been discussed over the years about why there are three youth football clubs in Frome : Frome Town Robins, Frome Town Youth and Frome Collegians.

In the past there have been too many obstacles in the way to stop this happening but not now.

The three clubs have been in conversation and meetings recently to join forces into one big club. This new club will be called Frome Town United FC and will bring together 600 players and 50 coaches making us one of the largest youth football clubs around.

With all three clubs merging, it will bring more financial stability and opportunities for the young footballers of Frome.

Not much will change initially until all of the final details are decided but from the start of the 21/22 season, we will all be as one, taking on the world.

We are all passionate for this and believe its the best thing to do for all of the players.
