Showing that they were indeed Friends, a celebrity couple stopped off at a bakery in Frome and bought the ambulance crew customers inside their lunch.

Courtney Cox who played Monica in the hit TV series, was also very enamoured by the sign on the road - aptly named Badcox.

According to the staff in Parsons Bakery, her boyfriend, Snow Patrol's Johnny McDaid came in hoping to buy a sausage roll for his partner.

But staff told Nub News " But we were all sold out ! But he saw that the other customer was from the ambulance service. So he said 'what are you buying, I will pay.' The ambulance man first said no, but he insisted. I will pay for that for you. What a gent."

While he was inside the bakery in Frome, Courtney took selfies of her namesake road.

It is understood that they are staying locally.
