The industrial site previously used by Lilley's Cider on Handlemaker Road in Frome has been marked as sold.

The two units, described as being for "light industrial accommodation with potential to sub-divide " were on sale for a guide price of £380,000.

The agent, which was also offering the site as a potential lease, was Cooper & Tanner. On the brochure the site has a rateable value of £20,250 but it is has not been revealed who is the purchaser.

Lilley's Cider, a local father and son business, moved operations to Roewood Farm, on Bunns Lane in Frome.

It moved in the middle of the first coronavirus lockdown, in April 2020, saying at the time it needed bigger premises.

On its social media page on April 18 the company wrote: " We have spent the last few weeks keeping to ourselves and moving our whole business to our brand new home. It's safe to say we outgrew our old base, we required somewhere with more space to enable us to grow. We hope with a much bigger home we can expand to make Lilley's Cider into the exciting project we have dreamt of from the get go. "
