FROME BREAKFAST BRIEFING: Wednesday March 18 2020

Frome Town Hall will be closed from today and for the foreseeable future. Council staff will be working from home and can be contacted on [email protected] or by phone: 01373 465757.

If you have any community initiatives which you want to share on ways Frome is helping out the more vulnerable groups in the town, don't forget you can put them on Frome Nub News, using our 'Nub It' button.

Today for the first two hours of the Iceland supermarket opening it will ONLY be serving older customers.

One more announcement: the bakery cafe RISE closed yesterday and will remain closed until further notice. A notice on Twitter yesterday said: " We're heartbroken to close our doors for the time being. Our aim is to get people together, but in this time of social distancing we need to keep apart."

Sunrise: Sunrise 06:15 Sunset 18:20

Weather : Some rain will push in from the north-west in the morning and linger through the day, but will gradually turn lighter and patchier. Overall a grey and wet day, but mild.
