It was another celebrity spot in Frome today - and at the same bakery which a few weeks ago served its famed sausage rolls to another actor.

The staff at Parsons Bakery in Badcox didn't initially realise who their famed customer was.

Actor Hugh Grant, fresh from his appearance at the Baftas, popped in and bought a sausage roll, a coffee and some cakes.

He ate them while sat at their new outside table in Badcox Frome, before driving off in his personally number plated black car.

Back in January the former Friends actor Courtney Cox was there. Her Snow Patrol boyfriend popped into Parsons again to buy a sausage roll.

Both actors are believed to have been guests at the boutique hotel near Vobster, Babington House which never reveals who stays there, but is reported to have kept a room for Madonna.

When news of the sighting was revealed one of the bakery's fans posted " Parsons is the place to be. These celebs better not take all our sausage rolls, my kids will be sad ! "

Frome Nub News, also a regular at this lovely bakery, and now celebrity hang out, can confirm that their sausage rolls are the best.

But so are their cakes, their pasties and their bread :) which is bad for the Nub New's waistline.

The actor, star of Love Actually and most recently in the HBO psychological thriller miniseries The Undoing (2020) opposite Nicole Kidman went last night to The Bell Inn in Leigh on Mendip.
