Frome Cheese & Grain Farmers Market this Saturday 9am-1pm
Somerset Farmers Market will also be returning to the side of the Cheese & Grain this coming Saturday.
They have apologised for having had to cancel the market in January, saying they had too many coronavirus related cancellations to make it viable .....we are now all back fighting fit but minus Pistrina our bread stall who will be returning in March.
Spring is just around the corner there feels like there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel as many people have now receive the vaccine. However we will continue to run the market as safely as possible and request face coverings, maintaining a safe social distancing as usual when queuing. We will continue to offer sanitiser on arrival and our traders can mostly offer contactless payment options,
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.
Our news is that we are introducing Pig Patch Pigs from near Wells, Carla breeds Oxford Sandy & Black pigs a rare breed which was saved from near extinction 20 years ago. Such is the quality of the slow grown meat that it is know as the Plum Pudding of pork. Carla debuted at MSN last week and sold out of her range of sausages and bacons so come early to avoid disappointment.
The Great Cake Company are now coming along regularly so do check out their growing range of gluten free and some dairy free cakes...celebrate Valentine's Day with cake.
We continue to be outdoors until at least April when the building may or may not finally open, whatever is deemed safe.
