Wow - this Frome company has delivered - and then some - with the largest single-location drone show to date in the UK - at Eurovision.
Celestial kicked off Liverpool's event on behalf of Ukraine, a 90-minute live outdoor spectacle that featured a 624-drone display; the largest ever.
The Opening Ceremony took place on May 7 at Liverpool City's St George's Hall and was hosted by AJ Odudu and Joel Dommett. The event welcomed a crowd of over 25,000 people and included performances by Frankie Goes To Hollywood, The Vivienne and two previous Eurovision Song Contest winners; Conchita Wurst, who won the Contest for Austria in 2014 and 2016 Contest winner Jamala for Ukraine.

The drone display consisted of two four-minute shows and featured Celestial's award-winning ability to bring giant drone art organic forms to life, such as Ukraine's national bird (the white stork) and Liverpool's symbolic mythical creature (the liver bird). These two powerful spectacles appeared above the hall as Conchita sang her contest-winning song "Rise like a Phoenix" on stage. Conchita and other stars of the show were delighted to carry one of the performing drones on the Turquoise Carpet at the ceremony.
Finalists Käärijä for Finland and Loreen for Sweden practice their trophy holding poses with one of the drones.
Among the stars that held one of our drones on the Turquoise Carpet was Zara Larsson. The Swedish pop singer sang her latest release "Can't Tame Her" followed by the finale song "You've Got the Love" as the drones displayed giant heart formations rotating above the stage.
They said: " Eurovision presented the perfect opportunity to demonstrate what we are all about; uniting people with a shared sense of wonder. Revered among the world's most watched non-sporting events every year, with hundreds of millions of viewers globally, our drone show for Eurovision brought unique expressions of harmony and togetherness over the skies of Liverpool, this year's hosts for 2022 contest winners Ukraine. "
The show was televised by BBC1 and BBC iPlayer at 6.30pm on Monday 8th May.
