Former West End leading lady, turned editorial makeup artist, who founded a nationwide hair and makeup agency and training academy with 22 franchisees and nearly 400 artists all over the UK has found her home in Frome.

Forty three year old Nicky Bragg has lived all over the world, but found a home in Frome for her and the family.

She now champions 35 Frome-based suppliers with a hyper local creativity hub, with the latest venture Frome gift boxes to suit all ages and budgets. 

Nicky is passionate about collaborative working and wanted to bring independent suppliers together in a creative manner to spread the word about how great Frome is, and the hidden treasures that can be found here.

For newbies moving into the area, Hunter French's partnership with Fromie Gifts has proved an outright success by providing completion boxes that include local goodies. 

Nicky said: " They are going down a treat, and new home owners delighted with their welcome presents have been spotted wondering up Catherine Hill, gift box in hand. It's a great way to help new home owners feel immediately integrated into the community."

The original concept began an idea to make it as easy as possible to buy from independent traders if crowds of the market weren't your thing. With Fromie.co.uk you can buy online or in store. Each purchase includes supplier's info cards in the gift box that relate to the gifts that have been chosen.

Support for the new venture has been plentiful both locally and globally, since its launch in September 2018.

The retail space it occupies on Stony Street has been transformed from tattoo shop to a fresh modern showroom space that certainly gets people talking, and Nicky cannot believe how supportive the town continues to be nearly two years on.

In turn the Frome creatives who supply Nicky are equally supportive with @crinklyclothbooks saying: ""What Nicky has done with Fromie is in a class of its own."
