One of Frome's most central restaurants, in the heart of the town, Fat Radish will close down on Saturday.
The owners have said that the decision has partly been made due to struggles to find hospitality staff.
They posted on their social media page:
"After a very testing few years, and with the current climate of hospitality and staffing, we have made the very sad and difficult decision to close our doors permanently, to focus on other projects and commitments."
It added: "It has been the most incredible four and a half years being able to serve the foodies of Frome our culinary creations. Along with the amazing team we've had here, and the wonderful personalities of all our regulars, the Radish has always had the most electric vibe about it, and the energy and high it's given everyone who has worked or dined here will be sorely missed."
The restaurant is co-owned and run by Ellen Porteous and Pascale Vickery.
Ellen added: " I want to thank everyone, from the bottom of my heart, for all the love and support you have shown us from the beginning, throughout lock down, and since our grand reopening. Whilst we will continue to cater for private events and weddings, our final night of service here at the Radish will be on Saturday 2nd October.
Please do join us for our last week of service - we're bringing you a special 'Greatest Hits' menu next week, revisiting all of our most popular and favourite dishes and drinks, so don't miss it!Stay Radishing,
Ellen"
