Felt is the material of choice right now in crafting circles and Frome is lucky to have a great local artist.

Bessie Bidder, who is offering workshops over half term to children, is also offering a special three hour workshop on March 14th for novices to make their own felt tea cosy.

It will be on from 1pm - 5pm at the Cheese & Grain, Market Yard, Frome and will cost £45 but that includes all the materials.

Bessie said: " I was inspired to do the tea cosy workshop as a keen tea drinker and that I recently discovered tea begs contain plastic in them so changed as many have to loose tea. So I'm using my tea cosy much more these days! I will also be running a hand puppet and hot bottle workshops soon this spring....and slowly do more complex courses including felt slippers, hats and scarves."

To book or for other enquiries call 07830737323 or message [email protected].
