Late last night (September 13) the Frome fire crew were called out to a suspected arson at Innox Hill.

Several members of the public had called 999 to report the blaze.

One fire appliance from Frome was immediately mobilised by fire control.

On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed that one car was well alight and got crews to work to extinguish the fire using a hose reel jet.

The fire caused approximately 70% damage to the vehicle and slight heat damage to a nearby vehicle. Police were informed as the fire was thought to have been started deliberately.
