The Robins scored three goals against Bodmin Town today (September 12) to happily progress to the next round of the FA cup.

All three were scored by Kane Simpson, who was also voted Man of the Match.

In blazing sunshine the Cornish team, who are sponsored by Kelly's icecream, had a couple of attempts on goal, but none to truly threaten the boys in red.

Kane, in a number nine shirt, scored at 42 minutes, 58 minutes and then a third, past the goalie into an empty net at 80 minutes.

With a lot to play for, tempers did fray on the pitch, with a couple of scuffles resulting in one yellow card for Jon Davies.

But as the team showed off their wall of thanks to fans, and an exceedingly good looking pitch, they can be pleased with both the outcome and how they played. On their Twitter feed one optimist had posted: Only ten more wins until Wembley!

Attendance was 245.

They are next at home on Tuesday September 29th in the evening against Evesham.
