Following a break in on-air transmissions, Frome FM is back on the airwaves at 96.6fm in and around Frome. Since the station went off-air, we have been broadcasting online at www.frome.fm/listennow where our schedule can be heard 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

On average we transmit over 80 hours each month of new programmes, put together by a current membership of 70 producers, technicians and presenters. We are all volunteers and looking for more people to make the station relevant to the local community.

The station's programmes appeal to many groups in our community – programmes featuring local musicians and artists, writers, action groups on loneliness and isolation, housing and the environment and a massive collection of music shows ranging from vintage and contemporary jazz rock, through classical to drum and bass, world and dance music.

The new shows keep coming and local singer songwriter Sara Vian launches a new Saturday night monthly dance music show on March 5th, whilst composer Tim Maryon is about to launch a monthly show called The Late Hour. Dates and times to be confirmed soon.

Frome FM is a community radio station and we welcome all contributions and comments on the service. We do comprehensive training for anyone who wants to join us. Get in touch on [email protected].
