Frome Town's Jonathan Davies had plenty to smile about today (Saturday) up at Badger's Hill.

He showed off some blistering football skills and was voted Man of the Match.

He also scored all three of Frome's winning goals.

But perhaps making that smile even wider, because Frome won today whoever comes out on top on Tuesday's critical game - will be on top of the table. So it is a game not to be missed.

The final score for Frome - a well deserved three nil with all three goals thanks to Mr Davies since he was due all the respect.

That score line might have been higher, perhaps even a new record to beat their 8 nil win, but for the extra finger tips and big reach of the AFC Totton's goalie Amadeeusz Skrzyniarz.

He kept the up the play from Southampton side, even as he was injured and passed over the kicking to another player, to make for a fantastically enjoyable game.

For Totton's super fan, who travels to every game, home away, rain and in this case, freezing sunshine, but comes all the way from London to do so, it might not have been the score line he wanted, but it was a great match.

But for Frome it was both a red hot match and a much needed boost heading into a critical week. They are playing Thatcham at 7.45 pm on Tuesday February 4.

It is in the words of their supporters " A massive six pointer".

They are hoping for a big turnout for the big evening do, take the kids they go for free, take yourself and support your local team who deserve to be top.
