A large ex-dairy farm close to Frome has been sold - as a complete lot - after interest from across the UK.

Lower West Barn Farm, with more than 400 acres, last changed hands in 1986 and was turned into a commercial dairy farm 600 cows.

Now the Witham Friary property, which has a farmhouse, farm worker's house, a residential plot with planning permission and a mass of farm buildings (both modern and traditional) has been sold after being on the market for over £5 million.

confirmed today (September 4) that they have recently agreed the sale on the farm as a whole after a lot of interest from far and wide across the country.
