Frome households still without power following Storm Eunice

Homeowners around the Vallis area of Frome are still without power - 24 hours after it went off because of Storm Eunice.

Homeowners on Wallington Way are still waiting to be reconnected - one of over a hundred across the region still off the system.

The whole estate is dark, with one homeowner telling Frome Nub News it is just 12 degrees in her flat.

Western Power, according to its map is still waiting to connect over 135 customers following the storm on February 19.

They said: " Storm Eunice has now moved away and our teams are continuing to work to restore customers. They will continue to do so throughout the weekend." They Tweeted this morning : " So far we have managed to restore around 435,000 customers, with just over 72,000 currently off supply. " You can read about the disruption the storm caused to travel HERE: Frome Nub News February 18 Somerset Highways had ten gangs working through the night on a clear-up operation across the county's roads - and they were back out this morning. In total across Somerset, 203 incidents were recorded yesterday
