A vacancy for a part time administrator at Frome College in the careers office. £21,189 - £21,968 per annum, pro rata Actual Salary £7,356 - £7,626 Permanent - Start date: ASAP . The College need this person to support the Careers Leader. This is an administrative role, working 15 hours per week, Term-Time plus Inset Days. Flexibility on the days worked can be negotiated. A Community Connector Coordinator, who will build on the existing 'Connector' training happening within Somerset which is now seen as an integral part of the 'whole community approach to social prescribing'.

Connectors are community members who receive brief training on a topic and then pass this information to friends, family and neighbours, if and when the opportunity arises. To date over 2,000 people have received 'connector' training across Somerset. Those who have trained are from across a range of roles and backgrounds – taxi drivers, hairdressers, police people, shop staff, sixth for students, doctors, community group members and more. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside people in similar roles to roll out place-based connector type training across Somerset.

This is a part-time, flexible role working three days (22.5 hours) per week on a fixed-term contract until 31 March 2025.

The annual salary is £25k pro rata, depending on experience. A vacancy for an Assistant Quality Manager to join a site management team in Frome, paying up to £36,000. The primary role of the Assistant Quality Manager is to provide professional and effective support to the factory in relation to technical and quality issues. This is a challenging role where the successful candidate has the opportunity to, make a genuine difference to the performance of the business. You will need to be proactive with a strong bias for action, be commercially astute, able to prioritise and communicate, and have oodles of energy to bring to the role.
