This Frome shop has made a national list of quirky and fun places to shop in the UK.

Pilea at the top of Catherine Hill was the only Frome shop to make the top 50 list.

The list included indie designers, cheese makers, collectors and fashion retailers from across the UK including, Robinson's Shoes, a shop repair shop founded in 1954 in Belfast.

The listing for Pilea reports that owner Lula Oatley' is educating her customers "so that they feel confident taking a plant home and nurturing it. Most plants aren't provided with the information needed to know how to keep them happy."
