In what is being heralded as revival for shopping in Frome, a leading clothing chain store is planning to interview for staff.

As seen on social media, the job centre in Frome is holding opening interviews for Peacocks.

The interviews are being held on December 2.

The Job Centre said it was interviewing for Peacocks " for their new store" and asked that interview slots need to be booked. Asking potential candidates to " Contact your Work Coach to arrange this. Not to be missed!"

It was always the intention for Peacocks to open opposite what is now the charity pop up in the Westway - which was previously M&Co.

Frome Nub News has contacted Peacocks head office to find out more.
