Frome Post Office in the Westway in Frome is not opening next week as previously reported - it is to re-open on Wednesday 15 September at 10am.

The branch closed temporarily in June 2021 following the resignation of our partners, Radstock Co-op.

The Post Office issued a revised press release today (August 26) : " We are pleased to be able to reinstate a temporary Post Office services to the local community, whilst we continue to seek a permanent solution.

"The opening hours will be Monday to Friday: 10am – 3.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm. "

The full address is 7 – 9 West Way, Frome.

Antoinette Chitty, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: "We know how important a Post Office is to a community and we are delighted to be restoring a temporary service in Frome whilst we continue to seek a permanent solution."
