Frome roadworks for week commencing December 2

There will be temporary traffic lights at the crossroads where Nunney Road meets Oakfield Road in Frome this week.

The multi-way lights will be in place from Thursday December 5 to December 9 to enable Bristol Water to raise three sunken covers.

Other roadworks in Frome this week include:

From Monday December 2 to Wednesday December 4, Bristol Water will be undertaking works on the A362 Christchurch Street West.

On Monday, Virgin Media's work in the pavement should be finished on the A362 Broadway.

From Monday to Wednesday, Virgin Media will be undertaking works on the B3092 Keyford.

Bristol Water will be repairing a leak in Clink Road from Monday to Wednesday, and also working in Ashtree Road and Westfield Road.

On Monday, a month-long permit for scaffolding will start at 19-20 Bath Street.

From Tuesday December 3 to Thursday, Bristol Water will be repairing a leak in Beechwood Avenue, and BT will be working in Caxton Road.

Wessex Water will be replacing a manhole chamber in Portland Road from Wednesday to Friday December 6.

From Thursday to December 16, Scottish and Southern Power Distribution will be laying a new mains cable connection in the footway between Pedlars Grove and Over Innox, while the water supply work there should be completed by Friday.

A leaking main will be repaired by Bristol Water in Foxbury Close from Friday to December 10.

Bristol Water's work to install a new talbot box and meter in Westcott Close should be finished by Tuesday.

Finally, the work to install kerbs to stop stormwater entering a private driveway in Gypsy Lane, should be completed by Friday.
