Two young football players will have the honour of renaming the Frome Town Football Club stadium, after winning a random draw following the club's successful fundraiser earlier this year.

As people made a donation to the club's appeal they could buy their name on a seat - and were then entered in a draw to win the right to rename The Robins' ground.

The name will be for the stadium for the 20/21 season - when it starts.

The draw was conducted and chosen at random by a computer.

The club said on its site: "A huge congratulations to Torin and Gabriel Walsh, who we believe are part of our Youth setup at Frome Town Robins. "

The name of the stadium for next season will be unveiled a naming event on a date to be announced in August. At this event the club will be inviting all fans to the ground to add their seat name to the stadium and join them as the name is announced and the Wall of Thanks installed.

In other developments up at the club:

- New Chairman Richard Gould has been appointed to the Robins Youth team

- there is a new Robins website to help promote Frome Town FC

- there is a new rebrand on kits

- there is substantial pitch redevelopment underway at the club's golf course site to allow major improvements and more pitches. The exploration of clubhouse developments is underway. The site could be further used as a secondary site for both the men's and women's teams at a future date.
