Frome Town United FC have installed a public access defibrillator on the clubhouse wall at their football grounds at Critchill Manor.

The box was generously jointly donated to them by Jay's AIM and The Adam Stansfield Foundation.

It's location has been registered on a national database so the emergency services can direct people to it.

Ben Starr from the club said: "It's an amazing donation and everyone at the club are extremely grateful to Jay's Aim and The Adam Stansfield Foundation for providing it to us. This will make our ever growing facilities safer for all visitors. Let's hope we never need to use it but it's great to know it's there should we have to".

The British Heart Foundation estimates that 12 people below the age of 35 die every week in the UK from undiagnosed heart conditions, many of them with no prior symptoms.
