An unfortunate choice of route saw this hapless driver stuck up Catherine Hill in Frome this evening (October 12).

The driver was wedged between scaffolding on one side of the hill and a vintage light fitting on the other.

Police arrived at the scene at just after 5pm, but with an on site electrical contractor unable to secure the electricity source and make it safe, it didn't seem that there was an obvious way up, or down, the hill.

The lorry initially got stuck at around 3.30 pm.
