If you haven't already, why not check out the lights of the Gingerbread House in Frome.

While you are at it, the couple behind the light show, which was live streamed on television are hoping you will take time to remember those struck down by cancer and think about a donation, however small, for Cancer Research UK.

To date they have raised £760.50 but the lights are going to be left on (excuse the pun) until the New Year, so they are hoping to make more.

As we reported on Frome Nub News Tony Hodges explained his motivation for the work: " The reason I'm doing this is simply that for the last 15 years I've struggled with and beaten bowel cancer."

You can donate you can click HERE : the Cancer Research site

You can visit the Gingerbread House at 26 The Butts and for a small donation put a bauble on their tree to remember your loved ones.

And watch this space, champion charity fundraiser and the creative brains behind the show, is thinking of doing something extra big for the last night they are on.
