Ames Kent of Frome creating a lasting legacy
Ames Kent of Frome creating a lasting legacy

A legacy of legal excellence By Katherine Oakes, Partner

Since 1840, Ames Kent has been committed to delivering exceptional legal solutions tailored to the diverse needs of Frome's residents and businesses. Despite the ever-evolving legal landscape, our values have remained for generations. We are not only legal experts but also your neighbours and fellow community members.

While we still draw from that wealth of experience, we also have a keen eye on the future – and if you happen to walk past King Street you will notice something a little different about us these days. We recently decided to undergo a rebrand to help better reflect us as a business. Our aim was to modernise how we presented ourselves while still maintaining our strong connection to the wider community.

So, it made sense for us to collaborate with local creatives to help bring this project to life. We asked Brahn Design Co. to develop our branding – who took inspiration for our new logo from the Frome Museum archives – while Yellow Peach created a fresh online experience for our clients. The team at Frome Printworks installed our new signage which now sits proudly above our door and a local photographer was asked to capture portraits of our dedicated staff. Even the imagery on our website focuses on the local area and surroundings. Each element has been crafted with the same care and attention we pride ourselves with and we are incredibly happy with the results.

With our new identity in place, we're ready to continue serving Frome with the same integrity and commitment that have defined us for generations. Initiatives like the September Wills Scheme, which has raised nearly £18,000 for Bath RUH, showcase our commitment to making a positive impact. With over £2,518 contributed to Wills Aid partner charities and sponsorships of local events like the Frome Festival and Frome Agricultural Society, we stand firmly by our community's side.

At a time where legal services can often appear distant and impersonal, our primary goal is to deliver genuinely personalised legal support. We are not merely legal practitioners; we are your trusted partners, diligently working to serve the people of Frome and the surrounding areas. If you need friendly yet expert advice, please get in touch. One of our team will be more than happy to assist you.
