It will all be coming up next year - thanks to Frome residents AND the Lions

If you noticed some serious hard work going on along the banks of the River in Frome then this is why.

The local Lions were out helping the Rangers plant an amazing 2000 daffodil bulbs along the Château-Gontier riverbank walk, close to the Jenson Button Bridge (another 1000 were planted last year too).

Funding was raised via a Just Giving appeal during 2021.

The current President of the Frome Lions Club told Nub News: " We would like to thank all of the people of Frome who donated, enabling the purchase the bulbs.

"Anyone can still donate via https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/Frome-Riverbank-Bloom until the end of November and even more bulbs can then bought next year."
