Spotted a part time job advertised in the centre of Frome today (July 16).

An Optical Assistant on Saturday and two additional days in the week.

A trainee welder or metal worker in Westbury. It is temporary at first but may be permanents for the right candidate, they want someone with mechanical aptitude who is enthusiastic, with a ''can do'' attitude. They should also have Math and English to Grade c.

Also on the Nub News jobs section, an opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Manager with well known and respected brand. Although this is a contract role initially, the full time pay is £32,000 - £42,000 per annum.

Finally on the Greycoat Lumleys job site: Wanted a Live In Couple who love the rural lifestyle and would embrace making their home on a beautiful estate close to Frome. Extra support needed for the existing Housekeepers and Ground staff, so to work as part of a team is important with a 'can do' attitude.

The position is :-

  • Caretaking and Security overnight which involves locking up and being the first port of call for alarms.
  • Repairs and maintenance of the Grade II Listed house and tenanted properties.
  • Some IT and organisational skills required to help with the running of the estate.
  • Occasional cooking when the family is at home.

A self-contained 2 to 3 bedroom flat with 2 bathrooms and spacious living accommodation is provided with service bills paid.

Salary - £38k Gross for the couple one full time position and one part time role (overnight).
