As an Online Assistant your role could be on the shop floor, picking customers' orders and taking real care in selecting the best quality produce, as if you were shopping for yourself. Today (September 13) the ONS reported that the UK unemployment rate fell to 3.6% in the three months to July - the lowest since 1974 - however the employment rate and number of vacancies also fell.

Economic inactivity - so those not working but not looking for jobs also rose to 21.7% the highest since 2017.

If taking the rise in prices into account, the value of regular pay fell by 2.8%, the ONS said.

Inflation - a measure of price rises - remains at a 40-year high of 10.1% and the latest figure, due out on Wednesday, is forecast to be higher.
