Over 100 people have now taken part in Green Community Connector training in Frome. The training, which is free to attend and lasts about an hour, provides local people with local information on climate change and health, the positive steps we can make for ourselves that will impact our wellbeing and the planet and the support that's available in Frome to improve our health and wellbeing as well as our planet.

The ultimate aim of the training is to grow a community of people who are confident about having conversations about climate change and health, sharing information within the wider community and leading to a greener, healthier future for Frome.

Charlotte Carson is the Green Health Connector at Frome Medical Practice and said, "We hold training sessions about once a month and they are open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the link between our health and the climate. I'm also available to talk to local groups about the work we are doing and would love to hear from anyone interested in having me along to a meeting or workplace to chat about what we are doing here in Frome."

Local people are invited to attend a Green Community Connector session that takes place next week, Tuesday 23rd November at 11am in Pronto Bikes on Bath Street.

"I'm looking forward to the session at Pronto Bikes next week and would love to see some new faces joining me for a coffee and a chat about the work we are doing", said Charlotte. "And if you can't attend next week, we've more dates booked over the next few months that people are really welcome to come along to."
