With wool chosen over plastic this year for all the Remembrance Sunday poppies across Mendip, maybe you have been casting your mind onto things to do over lockdown.
This Frome favourite yarn trader is certainly hoping you might consider turning to knitting.
They will continue trading via their website by clicking HERE: the Frome Yarn site
They are doing (excuse the pun) click and collect, and free local delivery within a mile, as well as posting orders. Customers, and would-be customers are also welcome to contact the shop to discuss their requirements or just to say hello [email protected]. Owner and manager Nicky Jerrome told Nub News that she would be really happy if people did chose to cast on under the latest lockdown and would be happy to guide them. She is pictured in what she refers to as peak knittiness, wearing her self knitted jumper, knitting with one of the Catherine Hill venue's yarns and using one of the shop's project bags.
