The Directors of SOS Frome have commissioned local sculptor and artisan builder Anthony Rogers to make and install an oak bench near the top of the 'Sledging Field' on community-owned Whatcombe Fields.

The location is a popular place to pause and enjoy the view.

Anthony has created several other benches and sculptures around Frome, notably along the riverside walk at Welshmill.

The team behind the work have put out this warning : Do watch your step in the fields though, as there are bee orchids flowering just now.
