Local law firm Thatcher + Hallam is encouraging people to join their free webinar, which will help them understand the benefits of planning now for later life.

George Persson TEP, Partner at Thatcher + Hallam and a senior member of the Wills, Probate and Tax Planning team at the firm said, "Very often when we ask clients if they have a will or if they've thought about inheritance tax planning their answer is no. Yet there are some simple measures we can put in place, which will help protect our loved ones should the unthinkable happen to us. People often consider that they are 'too young' to be thinking about this but it's really never too early to start planning for the future."

In order to help people understand the benefits of planning for later life, Thatcher + Hallam have partnered with Hart Greaves, independent financial advisers, and Richardson Swift, accountants with inheritance tax expertise, to offer a free, no obligation webinar that anyone is welcome to attend.

The webinar will use a case study to look at the benefits of planning for later life (as well as consequences of what can happen without this), how writing a will can save a great deal of angst for those left dealing with your estate, how a will can protect those you leave behind and what measures can be put in place regarding inheritance tax. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions and to have a 1-2-1 with members of the team running the session if that would be helpful.

The webinar takes place on Thursday 18th March 2021 at 10.30am, will last around an hour and is free to join. To register to take part visit the T+ H site
