Level Five Supplies, the Frome-based robotics company, continues its rapid expansion in the town with several new appointments which will support the company's growth in Somerset and internationally.

New recruits in the UK office, in India and Spain, will add to the team which moved to the town in 2019 with just one person, founder Alex Lawrence-Berkeley.

"Come the summer, we'll have created a total of 11 new jobs in the company, of which nine are in Frome. The next will be a new engineering apprenticeship to start in September, which we're recruiting with Wiltshire College – we hope the successful applicant (who must be 18+) will come from one of the surrounding towns."

The future success of the business, and indeed the continued growth of the high-tech industry, is reliant on the next generation of engineers. Which is why Level Five is committing to aspiring engineers' educational development by launching the apprenticeship programme. As the technology and engineering sector suffers from significant under-representation, they are particularly keen to hear from female, BAME and disabled applicants.

The company, which carries the highest rating of any employer in the area on review website Glassdoor, is attracting new recruits locally, as well as from outside the region.

"Naturally, Frome's position as a desirable place to live is a real help, so we're pleased to support the town by developing highly-skilled and well-paid jobs here."
