The expected break in the calm and bright weather later this week has been put off - at least until the weekend.

According to the local forecaster, this evening and tonight will be a repeat of the night just gone with temperatures falling sharply under the clear, calm conditions with the near full moon.

But tomorrow (Tuesday) it will be fine and dry again with some warm sunny spells. In fact it seems the whole week will be around 20 degrees, so still time to enjoy ice creams served by the coffee kiosk in Victoria Park.

Amateur, but highly respected local weather forecaster at Kilmersdon HERE added that later this week a westerly breeze will develop which may drop temperatures by a degree or two, but no more.

He writes: " Interesting that the professionals that were quoting a dip into Autumn locally later this week have now backed down on any wet and windy weather down here now before next weekend at least."
