Lockdown locks winner in Frome beats thousands of entries to get into final

It might have been lockdown but a Frome stylist has just found out that her works with locks has beaten thousands of others.
Laura, who set up a home salon that she built during lockdown has beaten around 15,000 other stylists to reach the finals of a prestigious competition.
Her work, for Flawless extensions of Frome is in the top 50 of the UK Hair and Beauty awards.
And if you see some the stunning extension work she does, you can understand.
Laura told Nub News: " Out of around 15000 people - so I'm over the moon!
"One of my clients entered me and I found out that I'm a finalist. I am absolutely flabbergasted as this is the biggest hair and beauty awards ceremony in the country and my tiny little home salon is in the finals.
"My business has just been going from strength to strength. We are renovating it again and now we are planning on re-opening fully in April with a new beauty therapist and another stylist as well. "
The winner will be announced 26th March - in London at a - of course - swanky ceremony
