It promises to be quite the spectacle.

In case you missed it the skies over Frome will be swarming with more than 250 drones to mark Halloween in the South West's first ever event of its kind.

In total there will be 276 drones flying at a maximum height of 300 feet between 5pm and 8pm on October 30.

It promises to be quite a show, as long as the weather holds.

As reported on Frome Nub News. Frome Town Council is inviting residents to a free Glow in the Park event on Saturday 30th October from 3:30pm – 6:30pm at the Old Showfield.

The afternoon will have lots of autumnal, fun activities for young and old alike including apple pressing, tree planting, lantern making, pumpkin decorating alongside an appearance by Frome's Rare Species and various food stalls hosted by local organisations. The event will finish with the South West's very first audience attended drone show.
