Officers have arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with an investigation into a serious assault in Frome.

The man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, after a 27-year-old man suffered facial injuries when he was attacked in Trinity Street on Friday 14 June.

He has been released on conditional bail for enquiries to continue.
