Much loved local Frome butchers is destroyed in fire attack

A much loved and generations old butchers in Frome has been destroyed in a fire.

Crime officers were this morning at the scene following a fire of a disabled vehicle outside the butchers on Baker Street.

Locals gathered in shock that the well known business, run over several generations had been destroyed. The car a disabled adapted vehicle was burnt out around 3am - it has been reported no one was hurt.

One of the butchers who worked in the shop Kev told Nub News: "We are in shock. Luckily no one was hurt but it's terrible."

Residents around Selwood Road say there have been up to a dozen arson attacks on vehicles over the past year.
